Al-Bashir directs Mechanism of National Dialogue to prepare for Addis Ababa meeting next November - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
President
of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir directed Mechanism of
National Dialogue to make preparation for expected meeting between the
Mechanism and the armed movements in Addis Ababa during coming
November3-4.
Foreign
Minister, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour said following meeting with President
of the Republic Monday, that he presented a detailed report about his
recent visit to Ethiopia during which he delivered a message from
President Al-Bashir to Ethiopian Prime Minister, Hailemariam Desalegn in
which a host of issues of Sudan, UNAMID exit strategy and peace issue
in South Sudan State were tackled.
He
added that he also briefed the President on his visit to South Africa
and his meeting with the Chairman of the AU High-level Implementation
Panel (AUHIP) on Sudan, Thabo Mbeki during which they discussed national
dialogue and progress of relation with the State of South Sudan.
Ghandour
affirmed that agreement was reached with Mbeki to hold meeting with the
signatory parties to Addis Ababa Agreement, 2014 to look into issues
pertinent to how the armed movements can participate in the national
dialogue during 3rd and 4th of coming November.
On
the Two Areas, the Foreign Minister said that it is expected that Thabo
Mbeki will extend invitation to parties to the negotiations to meet on
November 5-6 in Addis Ababa .
