National Dialogue Official: Number of Armed Movements participating in Dialogue tops 29 - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour, called on the
Ethiopian Prime Minister, Haile Mariam Desalgn and handed him a message
from President of the Republic Omar Bashir, dealing with the bilateral
relations between the two countries.
The Foreign Minister also conveyed to Prime Minister Desalegn, the
congratulations of President Bashir on his reelection as Prime Minister
for Ethiopia for a second term in office.
The two sides also reviewed regional and international political
developments in addition to means of boosting bilateral ties. They also
dwelt on the leading role IGAD plays in the region.
Ethiopia's Prime Minister, Desalegn, has meanwhile reaffirmed the
strength of relations between the two countries and expressed his
appreciation for the efforts exerted by the president of the republic
towards completing the peace process in the Sudan and for the stability
of the country, referring to the ongoing National Dialogue Conference
that kicked off in Khartoum two weeks ago.
Prime Minister, Desalegn, expressed his country's full support for the Sudan in the regional and international forums.
