Al-Sisi Confirms Importance of Darfur Referendum - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production

Chairman, Dr. Al-Tijani Al-Sisi confirmed, during his meeting with
members of the commission, a referendum would be conducted in
transparency and sincerity, stressing the importance of its role in the
security and stability of the region.
The Commission’s Chairman Omer Ali insisted they were independent and sought to work in a fair and just manner.
He explained that the right to vote would be for any Sudanese citizen
resident in Darfur during the period determined by the rules of the
referendum.
