Qatar to Establish Darfur Development Bank by Next April - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
The
preparatory group is to hold its meeting on January 12th whilst a
meeting for the shareholders is fixed on the 10th January 2016.
A
meeting was held in Doha attended by representatives from Qatar state
comprised of the general administration of International Development at
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah,
the Islamic Cooperation Organisation, Dr. Al-Tijani Al-Sisi Mohamed the
President of Darfur Regional Authority and Dr. Amin Hassan Omer the
Head of Darfur Peace office.
The meeting reviewed plans for establishing the Darfur Development Bank no later than April 2016.
The
gathering then shifted attention to the Office of Deputy Prime Minister
of Qatar and the State Minister for Cabinet Affairs of Qatar Ahmed Bin
Abdalla Al Mahmoud, who summarised the outcomes of the meeting of the
Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs Administration of International
Development. His highness asked for a speeding of steps to establish the
Darfur Development Bank.

Development Bank by next April, provided the technical committee of the
bank, comprising Bank of Sudan and the Islamic Development Bank, hold a
