Nuba Mountains Activist Slams SPLM-N, Describes Armed Movements’ Leaders as Warlords - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production

The
leading figure in the Nuba Mountains Azrag Zakariya, the activist of
non-governmental organisations, has held the Sudan’s People Liberation
Movement guilty of using citizens as human shields in the war.

Azrag,
who is the President of the Nuba Mountains leadership, having returned
from a twenty three year absence abroad, described commanders of the
armed movements as traders of war for using humans as a form of
protection in their torrents, aimed at causing a downfall in the regime.
He considers this an unsuccessful mean because the world now uses new mechanisms for the downfall of ruling systems.

Zakariya
accused, in an interview with Sudan Vision Daily, the SPLM of
non-delivery of humanitarian assistances for those held by the movement,
saying the lack of aid qualifies as a sort of torture and lack of
sensitivity towards citizens of the two regions.

He
noted that those who are participating in the talks are not the sons of
the region because they are subjecting the movement of assistances via
Yassir Arman, leading figure in the SPLM.

He
went on to demand the SPLM open routes for sustaining compassionate
support, insisting the world offers the relief yet the delivery is
denied.

He
added the plight is clear for the African Union and for the two
parties, suggesting the African mechanism is not equal to its level of
aspirations because all the fiascos that occurred in the past rounds are
unconvincing evidence of progress.
