Top Sudanese Honour for Sheikh Khalifa’s Charity Role - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production



Sudanese
President Omar Hassan Al Bashir met Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa
yesterday and congratulated him on being granted the highest social
responsibility decoration.

Sheikh
Khalifa was presented the Presidential Medal of Merit-First Class in
social responsibility at a major celebration in the Sudanese capital
Khartoum.

The
medal was conferred on him by Sudanese Vice-President Hassabo Mohammed
Abdul Rahman, who attended the ceremony on behalf of President Al
Bashir.

Sheikh Khalifa was also granted the title of International
Ambassador for Social Responsibility.

President
Al Bashir stressed that Sheikh Khalifa had earned the honour, which
comes in recognition of his role in charity and voluntary work. Sheikh
Khalifa conveyed the greetings of His Majesty, the Premier and the Crown
Prince.

He
also expressed pride at the honour bestowed on him, stressing that it
will motivate him to exert more efforts to serve the nation and promote
volunteerism in Arab societies.

He
expressed his happiness in attending the gathering of the International
Ambassadors for Social Responsibility in Sudan to discuss ways of
carrying out noble humanitarian initiatives.

Sheikh
Khalifa commended the success of the Regional Social Responsibility
Network’s International Ambassadors for Social Responsibility programme
that comprises top figures from the Arab countries known for their
patriotism and philanthropy.
