Hassabo Affirms Government Commitment to Provide Food for Localities Affected by Poor Rainfall - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
Vice - President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, has
affirmed the government commitment to meeting the food needs for the
citizens of North Darfur localities that have suffered decrease in the
cereals production due to the recent poor rainfall, affirming that the
strategic cereals reserve is sufficient for the coming two years.
This
came in his address to a mass rally in Um-Kadada Locality in the
context of his visit and the accompanying delegation to North Darfur
State.
Hassabo
has directed the Ministry of Health to promote Um-Kadada Hospital to an
emergency hospital and to supply it with equipment.
He
also gave directives for completing work in implementing the water and
electricity networks and establishing two centres for women and youth
development as well as the fund for development in Darfur with
participation of the federal and state governments and the citizens of
Um-Kadada who are working abroad.
