NISS Parade for the Sake of the Homeland - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production

The
National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) has an important
role in protecting our homeland and keeping public order and security.
The NISS is a body that suffers from misunderstanding because people don’t understand its mission.

Every year members of parliament debate on security law are divided
into two groups. Some believe the NISS must shoulder its responsibility
to protect all aspects of life in Sudan; it must shield the economy,
values, politics and territories.

While
others try to deprive NISS of its authorities the was move rejected by
the Director, Lieutenant General Engineer Mohamed Atta Al Mawla Abbas,
who stressed that the mission is not confined to reporting information,
but that the NISS had a right to play a role in defense.

On
Wednesday the NISS Deputy Chief addressed the parade organised by the
NISS every year to revitalise and further the aspirations of troops. The
NISS underlined its support to the troops and enabled them to carry out
their mission.

The
parade started from Jebel Awlia district in Khartoum, where they were
welcomed and encouraged by the people. The NISS is adopting a new policy
to clear its bad image. It’s a body that facilitates the mission of
governments to create a strong plan to serve national security which
paves the way toward prosperity and development.

The
conception of the NISS must be understood by people. Security is a
collective duty to be shouldered by all and recently the NISS supported
educational institutions and optimised sport audience through funding
sport activities.

It came into close contact with the people, who exchanged ideas to bridge the gap between the NISS, politicians and journalists.
