Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim: Dialogue is Opportunity for Agreement on Principles to Support National Building - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
Member
of the higher coordinative mechanism for the national dialogue (7+7),
Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim, affirmed that the national dialogue marks
advent of a new stage in the Sudanese political life.
At
a press conference held by the mechanism on Friday at the Friendship
Hall, Dr. Ibrahim said that the national dialogue represents opportunity
for reaching accord on principles to govern the national building
process and to pave the way for the coming generations to establish a
better future.
He
said that the dialogue will lead to agreement on a permanent
constitution that guarantees freedom and supports the rule of law.
He
said that the confidence of the participants in the national dialogue
will motivate many parties and personalities to join the dialogue,
referring to arrival of the activist Taraji Mustafa and the delegation
of Sudan Liberation Movement (faction of Abul-Gasim Imam).
Dr.
Imam has appreciated the efforts of the national dialogue's secretariat
in recording all the deliberations at the six national dialogue
committees.
He
pointed out that the committee for governance and the dialogue outcome
has never discussed any issue about an interim government.
