Khartoum Refinery Resumes Operation - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production

President of the Republic Omer Al Bashir will inaugurate on 23rd of
this month Port Sudan new depot with a productive capacity of 21 tons.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Gas has announced reoperation of Khartoum Refinery after its stop for regular maintenance.

State
Minister at the Ministry of Petroleum and Gas has attributed non-
maintenance of the refinery on its specified date in last May to
multiple reasons including the rainy season.

He
stressed that the refinery operates with a productive capacity of 140
thousand tons per day along with an increase of 10000 barrels per day
produced by the new refinery.

He
said by the year 2019 Sudan will be oil extracts self-sufficient,
noting that the share of gas offered to the distribution companies has
been risen to 100 thousand tons at an increase 50 thousand tons.
