Red Sea Governor: 90% of Busted Narcotics Containers Targeted for Other Countries - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production



The
Governor of Red Sea State, Ali Ahmed Hamid, has disclosed his state has
become a crossing point for narcotic and human trafficking. He hailed
the security services who continue to be strong against these adverse
practices.

He
confirmed that 90% of the containers of narcotics which were busted
recently in Port Sudan, were not targeting Sudan but other countries
instead.

The
Governor disclosed to Sudan Vision, in a press conference at the
tourism event start up in Port Sudan, this year’s budget amounted to one
billion, four hundred million Sudanese pounds.
He highlighted the attention of his state to health and development through establishing hospitals and providing medicine.

He
said the number of tourists from within Sudan last year has totaled
more than 5000, describing how the carnival will provide job
opportunities and describing the Red Sea as an important facet of Red
Sea tourism.
