The National Congress Party’s (NCP) Conference annual Intellectual
Conference has begun with a large local, regional and international
attendance, led by the President of the Republic and President of the
NCP Field Marshal Omer Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir, along with a number of
scholars from different countries of the world.
The
events of the two day conference are expected to be associated with
presenting a number of scientific and ideological papers focusing on the
phenomena of extremism and the exaggerations seen by the world.
The
NCP is planning to conjure numerous recommendations that assist in
finding a way out of the calamities which the world is living in.
The
President of the Republic and NCP President Omer Al Bashir believes the
international community has lost a lot by its hostility to Sudan
through the use of wrongful means to isolate the country from playing
its international and regional role. He was speaking at the opening of
conference deliberations.
He
believes the international community is able to benefit from the
moderate thinking and tolerance represented by the Sudanese in fighting
extreme ideas implemented by extremist groups. Al Bashir called on the
Islamic nation, particularly the Sudanese people, not to relax and argue
on meager potentialities.
He
said the potentials endowed by Allah to the Sudanese people, such as
extensive fertile lands and treasures underground, are capable of
advancing and developing the nation considerably.
Al
Bashir further asked for the studying of the Sudanese nation’s realties
in the aftermath of the secession of South Sudan, noting he considers
discussions a place to reason and mediate on the future of Sudan.
He
outlined the ongoing national dialogue is discussing a number of
issues, which is evidence of the seriousness of the state in resolving
problems through righteous, scientific and intellectual approaches
towards realising the aspirations of the nation.
He
considered the approach of dialogue in all walks of life, a reality
accepted by the government since its inception. The government has moved
forward by implementing the outcomes of these conferences.
