Al-Bashir receives Chairperson of the Joint Monitoring Commission of the Peace Agreement on South Sudan. - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production

Sudan
has welcomed appointment of former President Botswana, Festus Mogae as
Chairperson of the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (JMEC) of
the Peace Agreement on South Sudan.

President
of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, receiving Mogae in the
Guest House, Saturday, affirmed his unlimited support to stability in
State of South Sudan and renewed Sudan support to peace agreement signed
between the disputed parties in South Sudan for stability in South
Sudan, he said, means stability for Sudan.

Sudan
Envoy to IGAD, Gen. Mohammed Ahmed Ad-Dabi and member of the High
Commission said the President tackled in his talks with Festus Mogae
relation between Sudan and State of South Sudan and that the President
renewed welcome to South Sudanese refugees in Sudan.

He
added that President Al-Bashir affirmed that the task of monitoring is
not impossible but it is difficult, calling for necessity of sticking to
patience for completing implementation of the Peace Agreement on South
Sudan.
