Bilal: Political Project in Sudan Must Have Parallel Media Concepts - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
He
said the Sudan Academy for Media Sciences has qualified students,
noting the Academy is ready and prepared to continue training such
individuals.
For
his part, the North Darfur Governor held media scholars should bear the
responsibility of leading initiatives and preserving the homeland. He
said this should be in the territories and for Sudanese nationals, as
the national media is orientated in such a way to benefit the country.
He
further called on the scholars to reflect what they have studied in
describing the events of the twenty fifth school tournament, held in
North Kordofan State, the silver jubilee competition of public
education.
He
said this event aims to build up national sentiment and focus on our
proud heritage, whilst accepting the view points of others and
increasing peaceful coexistence. Ahmed Haroun denied that North Kordofan
State is ethnically locked, calling for the school tournament to be
accepted by all Sudanese.
In
a related development, the State Minister at the Ministry of
Information said, “we will make the state of North Kordofan a destiny of
Sudan.” This highlights efforts exerted by the Governor in developing
the state. The Minister stressed attention to the training of media
cadres, huge evidence that the Governor is trying to promote and develop
the state.
Meanwhile
Prof. Ali Shumo said the media trainees in North Kordofan are lucky
because the Governor of the State is a creative person, who knew how to
manage the state via the media.
He
said Ahmed Haroun's initiative of training is unprecedented by any
state. He believes the Sudan Academy of Media Science is an
international, high potential place, recognised by the ICCKO.
Meanwhile,
the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Media, Abdulmagid Haroun, argued
the sons of Kordofan have contributed and excelled in the media. He drew
attention to their involvement in Radio and Television, describing the
state as rich in creativity, culture and heritage.

The
Minister of Information, Dr Ahmed Bilal Osman, has stressed the
importance in training for all media cadres working in related
departments.
He
said his Ministry will issue a binding decision for training the media
workforce across Sudan. He announced this during a celebration held by
the Ministry of Information to mark the graduation of 32 scholars, from
both genders, from the state of North Kordofan at the Petroleum Premises
in Khartoum.
He
believes the media is the base for the reconstruction and strengthening
of the state, and is the tool that contributes towards making the
National Dialogue a success. He said it can also be used to patch up
social differences and reflect the outstanding characteristics that
distinguish Sudan to the outside world.
He further hailed the Sudan Academy for Media Sciences, whose scholars have spent three weeks training in all spheres of media.
