Either Dialogue or International Arbitrary to Settle Disputes on Halayib: Ghandour - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production

Minister, Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Ghandour has announced that Sudan’s
vision conveyed to our brothers in Egypt to settle the dispute is either
the dialogue or international arbitrary, so the policy of imposing
status quo doesn’t solve the problem, and it will still the source of
sensitivity between the two countries.
“we
believe it is Sudanese and nobody convince us to do the opposite, we
don’t adopt it as a reason of tension, so we like it or not, it will
still a problem, if we don’t solve it” said Ghandour
The
Minister who was talking to CNN on Friday assured that Sudan is seeking
the interest of both Ethiopia and Egypt in regard to renaissance dam.
“We are not mediators nor neutral so we have a right” revealed Ghandour.
He
stressed on Sudanese role in supporting Arab stances pointing out that
Sudanese relations with Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries is a top
priority.

Sudan has reiterated that (Halayib) the disputed area between Sudan and Egypt is purely Sudanese.
