President Al-Bashir Calls for Formulation of Gold Exports Policy - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
He
directed the Ministries of Mining and Finance and the Bank of Sudan to
work out a policy on the gold exports that will be declared for the
gold-producing companies.
In
a press statement after the meeting, the Minister of Mining, Ahmed
Mohamed Saddiq Al-Karrouri, said that President Al-Bashir has given
instructions on expanding services of the Bank of Sudan and establishing
banks branches at the gold-producing localities.
He said that President Al-Bashir gave a directive that the Bank of Sudan shall continue to receive all the produced gold.
Al-Karrouri
indicated that he provided the President of the Republic with a report
on the performance of his ministry in the field of minerals production,
especially gold in the past year, announcing that the gold production in
the past year amounted to 82.3 tons.
