President
of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir and the Egyptian
President, Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi underscored keenness on maintaining
sustainable and good relations and continued cooperation between Sudan
and Egypt , as well as joint work for development and well-being of
people of the two countries.
This
came during a meeting which brought the two Presidents together on the
sideline of the 26th African Summit in Addis Ababa, Saturday.
Foreign
Minister, Professor Ibrahim Ghandour said in a statement to SUNA, that
the meeting reviewed bilateral relations and ways of boosting them
further in a way that return with benefit for both sides, indicating to
directives of the two Presidents during the meeting for Foreign
Ministers of the two countries to prepare for meeting of the Joint
Sudanese-Egyptian Ministerial Committee which is scheduled to be held in
next March.
He
added the Sudanese-Egyptian relations are deeply rooted and based on
strong principles , saying that the two Presidents are keen to reach
bilateral relations and cooperation to high levels of coordination and
exchange of benefits.
