Interior Minister Discusses Situation of Sudanese People in Chad with High Commissioner of Refugees - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production
The
Commissioner of Refugees, Ahmed Al-Gezouli, said in a statement to
Police Media Center that the meeting discussed the situation of the
Sudanese nationals in Chad and carrying out preparations for their
return to the homeland following enhancement of the security and
stability situation in Darfur states.
He
said that agreement was reached to support the returnees to North
Darfur State in the localities of Al-Tina, Arnoy and Karnoy whose number
has reached 300,000 families and providing them with tents and mosquito
nets, besides donation of an electricity generator to Kabkabia
Hospital.
He pointed out that the meeting agreed to invite humanitarian aid Organizations to support the returnees in North Darfur State.
The Meeting also discussed implementation of projects to help the people of South Sudan in the White Nile State.
The
meeting also reviewed the demand of higher commissioner of refugees to
meet with the delegation of Sudan for the African Union summit which
will be held by the end of current January to exchange views on the
issues relating to refugees.
The

Tuesday at his office the representative of the High Commissioner of
Refugees in Khartoum, Mohamed Addar, in presence of the State Minister
at the Ministry of Interior, Babiker Ahmed Digna.
