Al Bashir to Address High Education and Scientific Research Conference yesterday - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production

President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al Bashir will
launch,yesterday, the Higher Education and Scientific Research Third
Conference under the theme "Higher Education and Scientific Research,
the Core of Renaissance."

State
Minister at the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry, Dr.
Al-Tijani Mustafa said, at a press conference yesterday, that this
conference aims at studying and analyzing the current situation of
higher education and scientific research in order to develop it.

He
pointed out that the conference also aims at contributing to build a
knowledge environment to help in the transition to a knowledge-based
economy.

Undersecretary
of the Ministry, Azhari Abdul Bagi said that the conference was
preceded by university and sector conferences, which discussed the
university environment, quality of education, finance, training and open
education, stressing the need to create the university environment for
community service.
