Preparatory meetings of Higher Committee between Sudan and Tunisia concluded - Rawan For Media Artistic and Production



The
preparatory meetings of the Higher Committee between Sudan and Tunisia
was concluded in Tunis Friday at the level of senior staff.


The two sides signed the minutes of the meetings. The Sudanese side
headed by the Director of the Department of Arab Affairs at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Abdel-Moneim Ahmed, who signed
for Sudan, while the Tunisian side chaired by the Director-General for
Political and Economic Relations with the Arab World Ambassador Mohamed
Samir Koubaa, who signed the minutes.


The Sudanese delegation included representatives of the ministries of
health and international cooperation as well as the Central Bank of
Sudan and the Tunisian side represented by more than 10 ministries and
public institutions.


SUNA learned that the two sides agreed, during the two-day meetings,
upon projects in several fields including higher education and
scientific research, transport, health, tourism, investment, trade and
agriculture, while a number of other agreement projects, which were
presented by the Tunisian side to its Sudanese counterpart were
postponed for study with the aim of processing and to be signed together
during the meetings of the Higher Committee between the two countries
scheduled to be held on the first and second of next February in
Khartoum.
